Where does your deposit actually go?
It’s the question no one ever asks before paying a deposit — and it’s exactly the one SafeYield answers in detail. Here, with no grey areas, is where your money is, what protects it, and what it earns.
Real-time transparency
Once you’re signed up, you can see at any time where your money is and what it’s earning — as shown in the preview below.

Security and compliance
Segregated funds
Your deposit is never mixed with the landlord’s cash or with SafeYield’s. It’s kept separate, identifiable, and never appears on the landlord’s balance sheet.
Held in Europe
Your data and your funds stay hosted and held in Europe, never transferred outside the Union.
Dual validation
No funds are released without both parties’ agreement, or the decision of an independent mediator in case of disagreement.
What SafeYield is not
SafeYield is not a credit institution, not a bank, not a savings account. The returns shown are indicative estimates, variable and not guaranteed, based on a hypothetical rate that can be adjusted. SafeYield is currently a project in private beta: we’re just as transparent about this stage as about everything else.
Disputes and mediation
Releasing the deposit relies on dual validation: both you and the landlord must agree. If you disagree, an independent mediator reviews the case before any funds are released. Neither party can unlock the other’s money alone.
